Street Coffee Kiosk MOC – Free Building Instructions
Share
A morning coffee stop is one of those small details that can make a city scene feel occupied rather than simply built. This Street Coffee Kiosk is my original custom MOC, designed as a compact walk-up café with a broad striped canopy, rounded walls and an open serving counter.
Free step-by-step image instructions are available on this page. The finished model can become a small destination along a shopping street, town square, park edge or pedestrian area, while still having enough character to work as a standalone display.
A Small Café Built for the Sidewalk
The model centers everything around its open service window. A worker stands behind the counter, with cups, drink-service details and small baked goods arranged where customers would be served.
The curved front and rounded corners soften the shape of the kiosk, while the dark green and cream color combination gives it a more established street-café appearance. A potted flowering plant beside the building adds a separate decorative detail without making the footprint feel crowded.

The Striped Canopy Gives the Kiosk Its Identity
The most recognizable part of this Coffee Stand MOC is the wide green-and-cream canopy. Its alternating stripes continue across the upper structure and extend over the counter, making the serving area easy to recognize immediately.
Angled roof sections, the small upper vent detail and the rounded side walls create several changes in shape around what is still a compact structure. From the front, the canopy frames the café worker and counter; from the sides, the curved construction gives the kiosk a finished appearance rather than looking like a simple flat-front stall.
Recreate the Coffee Stand from the Image Steps
The instructions take you through the complete custom kiosk shown here, including the main body, curved wall sections, counter, roof and canopy, café details and side plant.
This is also a useful build for studying how a small service stand can combine rounded construction with a projecting awning and an open interior without needing a large building around it.

Build a Busier Café and Market Street
If you want to expand the scene beyond one kiosk, the Coffee Cart free building instructions provide a smaller mobile coffee seller that can occupy another part of the street.
For a different interpretation of the same café theme, explore the Cafe Fleur Coffee Stand. A nearby Flower Stand MOC can help turn the area into a mixed market or shopping row, while the Surfside Beach Bar MOC offers another approach to building a compact staffed serving kiosk around a distinctive canopy.
