Digital building instructions — no physical parts included
All products sold on How To Build It / HTBI-MOC are digital building instruction files.
When you purchase a model, you are buying access to digital files that help you build the model yourself. You are not buying physical bricks, parts, a boxed set, or any shipped product.
No physical item will be sent by mail.
What is included with your order?
Each paid digital product includes:
- A high-quality PDF building instruction file
- Step-by-step visual building instructions
- Instant digital access after checkout
Each product page also includes a link to the model’s parts list, so you can review the required pieces before purchasing. The parts list is available directly from the product page and is not limited to customers who have already purchased the instructions.
Some products may include additional files or notes depending on the model. Please check the individual product page for specific details.
Parts are not included
The purchase does not include any physical parts.

The parts list is provided to help you plan the build and source the required pieces yourself from your own collection or from third-party parts marketplaces.
The cost of buying the parts is not included in the price of the digital instructions.
How do I receive my files?
After completing your purchase, the digital files are delivered automatically.
You should receive an email with access to your download. In many cases, the download is also available immediately after checkout.
Please make sure your email address is entered correctly before completing the order.
If you do not receive your email, please check your spam, promotions, or junk folder first. If you still cannot find it, contact us and include your order number or the email address used for the purchase.
Important information for EU customers
Our products are digital content supplied immediately after purchase.
Before completing the purchase, customers are asked to confirm that they understand they are buying a digital product and that they expressly agree to immediate access to the digital PDF product.
By giving this confirmation and receiving access to the digital content, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access begins, in accordance with applicable consumer rules for digital content.
This means that once the digital files are made available to you, the order generally cannot be cancelled simply because you changed your mind.
This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law if there is a technical problem, an incorrect file, a defective digital file, or another issue that we are required to resolve.
Refunds and cancellations
Because our products are digital files delivered with immediate access, all sales are generally final once access to the files has begun.
Refunds are not usually provided for:
- Accidentally purchasing the wrong model
- Changing your mind after receiving access
- Not realizing that the product is digital
- Not having the required physical parts
- Buying parts separately from another website or seller
- Downloading or accessing the file and then deciding not to build the model
However, please contact us if:
- You purchased the same digital product twice by mistake
- You cannot access your files due to a technical issue
- The wrong file was delivered
- There is a serious problem with the download or product page
We will review the issue and help where possible.
Personal use only
Every purchase is for personal use only, unless a separate written agreement has been made in advance.
You may not:
- Resell the digital files
- Share the files publicly or privately
- Upload the files to other websites, groups, drives, or marketplaces
- Use the instructions commercially
- Sell copies of the instructions
- Claim the design as your own
