Commercial Collaboration & Model Licensing
Are you interested in selling physical building kits, offering one of my models as a gift, including a model in a promotional campaign, or creating another type of commercial collaboration?
I offer flexible, non-exclusive licensing plans that allow businesses to use selected models from my catalog under their own brand.
My catalog includes approximately 1,000 original models across a wide range of themes, sizes and building styles.

Monthly Licensing Plans
Choose a plan based on the maximum number of models you would like to license at the same time. Every plan begins with a minimum commitment of three consecutive months.
What Is Included?
For every model selected as part of your active licensing plan, you will receive:
- The original BrickLink Stud.io source file in .io format
- A complete parts list in .xml format
- Digital building instructions in .pdf format
- Non-exclusive commercial usage rights for the duration of the active license
There is no limit on the number of physical products, kits or gifts that may be sold or distributed while the relevant model is covered by an active license.
What the License Allows
The license allows you to use the selected designs for agreed commercial purposes involving physical products, including:
- Selling physical building kits based on the licensed models
- Providing physical kits or completed models as gifts
- Including physical models in promotional campaigns
- Using images of the licensed models to promote your authorized physical products
- Presenting the products under your own business or brand name
Digital Files and Distribution Restrictions
The license does not include the right to sell, give away or distribute the digital files themselves. Unless separate written permission is provided, you may not:
- Sell or resell the PDF, XML or IO files
- Give the digital files to customers as a gift or bonus
- Include the digital files with a physical product or building kit
- Upload the files to a website, marketplace, cloud library or file-sharing service
- Publish, copy, share or publicly distribute the files
- Transfer the files to another business or designer
- Grant another person or company permission to use or sell the designs
- Offer sublicenses based on the licensed models
If a third-party manufacturer or supplier requires access to a source file for the production of your authorized physical products, this must be approved by me in writing in advance. Any approved third party may use the files only for production performed on your behalf and may not retain, reuse, sell or distribute them.
Licensing Terms
Non-Exclusive License
All licenses are non-exclusive. The same model may remain available in my catalog and may also be licensed to other businesses or used in other collaborations.
Three-Month Minimum Commitment
Every new licensing plan requires a minimum commitment of three consecutive months. The monthly fee remains payable throughout this period.
Model Selection
Your selected models remain fixed during the three-month commitment period. Models may normally be replaced only after the current three-month commitment has ended.
Upgrading Your Plan
You may upgrade to a larger plan at any time. When upgrading, you may add or replace models within the limit of the new plan.
A new three-month minimum commitment begins from the date the upgrade takes effect.
Downgrading Your Plan
A smaller plan may be selected only after the current three-month minimum commitment has ended. The number of active models must then be reduced to fit the new plan.
Replacing Models
Models may be replaced at the end of the current three-month commitment period. Replacing one model with another does not permit continued use or sale of the removed model.
Sales and Inventory After the License Ends
You must maintain an active paid license for as long as you wish to advertise, sell, give away or otherwise distribute any product based on a licensed model.
- Existing physical inventory may not be sold after the license ends.
- Previously manufactured kits do not receive permanent sales rights.
- Products may not remain listed as available for purchase after the license ends.
- Licensed models may not continue to be used in promotions, giveaways or campaigns.
- Production completed before cancellation does not extend the licensing period.
To continue selling or distributing remaining inventory, the subscription must remain active and the relevant model must remain included in your licensing plan.
Payment and Automatic Renewal
Payments are made monthly through a recurring PayPal subscription.
- The subscription renews automatically every month.
- The initial commitment is for a minimum of three monthly payments.
- The licensing fee is payable regardless of the number of sales, gifts or units distributed.
- No sale or distribution activity does not remove the monthly payment obligation.
- After the minimum commitment has ended, the subscription continues until manually canceled through PayPal.
- If the subscription is not canceled, this is considered confirmation that the license should continue.
- Canceling a PayPal subscription does not remove any payment obligations that arose during an active commitment period.
Access to commercial usage rights ends when the paid licensing period ends.
Copyright and Ownership
Copyright and ownership of every model, design, source file, parts list, instruction file, image and related material remain with me at all times.
The licensing plan provides limited permission to use selected models under the agreed terms. It does not transfer ownership, copyright or intellectual property rights to the licensee.
The models, files or instructions may not be registered, claimed or presented as the licensee’s original intellectual property.
Model Adjustments and Custom Work
All model files are supplied in their existing form.
Any structural changes, size adjustments, branding changes, packaging preparation, instruction changes or other custom modifications are the responsibility of the licensee.
Alternatively, I may perform approved custom work for an additional fee. My standard custom design rate is $150 per working hour.
The scope, estimated working time and cost of custom work must be agreed upon before the work begins.
Parts and Manufacturing
I provide digital designs, parts lists and building instructions. I do not manufacture or sell the physical parts required to build the models.
Any manufacturing agreement, parts purchase, pricing, shipping, quality control, customs, taxes or other arrangement is made directly between you and the third-party supplier.
