LEGO Harry Potter 76396 Divination Class Opens a Portable Hogwarts Scene

LEGO Harry Potter 76396 Hogwarts Moment: Divination Class turns a Hogwarts lesson into a compact brick-built playbook. AustrianBrickFan’s speed build gives the 297-piece set a construction-focused spotlight, making it easy to appreciate how a small model can balance recognizable scenery, character play and tidy shelf storage.

The format is the real attraction. Open the decorated cover and Professor Trelawney’s classroom appears; close it and the scene becomes a slim, portable display. It is a clever solution for builders who enjoy detailed interiors but do not always have room for a full castle layout.

A classroom built for play and display

The set includes Harry Potter, Parvati Patil and Professor Trelawney, giving the classroom an immediate story hook. A crystal ball, teacups, desk, student chairs, armchair and storage cupboard fill out the lesson, while detachable furniture lets builders spread the scene beyond the book’s footprint.

That removable layout also makes the model useful as building inspiration. Instead of treating the backdrop as a fixed wall, the design divides the room into portable story elements. MOC builders could borrow the same approach for compact classrooms, shops or character vignettes that expand for play and fold away afterward.

Final Thoughts

LEGO 76396 succeeds by making its limitation part of the idea. The book shape keeps the model focused, the three minifigures establish the scene quickly, and the loose furnishings prevent the interior from feeling static. For Harry Potter builders, it is a concise example of how packaging, storage and storytelling can become one connected design.
