Wolf Pack Mini Outpost MOC – Free Building Instructions
The Wolf Pack Mini Outpost is my original custom MOC, designed as a compact medieval guard position with a stone tower, lookout platform, banners, equipment, and woodland details. Free step-by-step image instructions are available on this page.
The model works especially well along the edge of a castle layout, beside a forest trail, or as part of a larger Wolf Pack camp. Its small footprint provides a complete defensive scene without requiring a large fortress.

About This Custom MOC
The main structure is a narrow gray stone tower built on a rounded terrain base. A shield carrying the wolf emblem decorates the front wall, immediately connecting the structure to the Wolf Pack theme.
At the top of the tower is an open lookout platform supported by brown posts. A red-and-black striped roof shelters the guard while preserving an open view across the surrounding landscape. The curved edge below the platform helps create a clear transition between the solid stone wall and the lighter upper structure.
The ground area expands the model beyond a simple tower. A separate banner pole carries two matching Wolf Pack flags, while the opposite side includes spears, swords, shields, and other defensive equipment. A wooden storage chest, wall-mounted torch, small plants, a hooded guard, and a white wolf complete the scene.
What You Can Build from the Instructions
The instructions help you recreate the layered terrain base, the tall stone wall section, the upper lookout platform, and the striped roof assembly. They also cover the smaller structures that give the outpost its identity, including the banner pole, weapon rack, storage chest, torch position, shield decorations, and surrounding vegetation.
These separate assemblies make the finished model useful from several viewing angles. The front presents the tower and faction emblem, while the sides reveal the equipment area, banners, supplies, and patrol scene.
Turning the Outpost into a Border Scene
This MOC can represent a remote checkpoint positioned between a forest hideout and a nearby kingdom. The elevated guard can watch the road from the tower while the hooded character and wolf patrol the ground below.
Place the model beside a narrow path to create an entrance into Wolf Pack territory. The banners can mark the controlled area, while the chest and weapon rack suggest that the outpost also serves as a small supply and equipment station.
For a larger layout, surround the base with trees, rocks, uneven ground, or additional camp structures. The model can become the first defensive point visitors encounter before reaching a hidden camp deeper inside the forest.
Building Experience
The build is divided naturally into several visual sections. The rounded terrain base supports the stone tower, followed by the raised platform and roof. The banner pole, equipment rack, chest, torch, plants, and character details can then be arranged around the completed structure.
The combination of vertical tower construction and smaller ground-level assemblies keeps the building process varied while producing a compact scene with a strong medieval identity.
