Witch’s Potion Workshop MOC – Free Building Instructions
Share
A crowded wooden workbench can turn a small corner of a fantasy layout into a place where something mysterious is being brewed. This Witch’s Potion Workshop MOC is my original custom MOC, built around a potion maker’s working space filled with bottles, ingredients, an open book and magical clutter.
Free step-by-step image instructions are available on this page. The compact workshop can become part of a witch’s cottage, potion shop, castle interior, Halloween scene or larger fantasy display.

Inside the Witch’s Potion Workshop
The wooden table is the center of the scene, with an open book positioned directly in the working area. Beside it are a candle, a red-and-white mushroom and a dark container, creating the impression of a workspace that is currently being used rather than a neatly arranged display.
Behind the table, the raised shelving adds a second layer of detail. Transparent bottles in several colors sit alongside flask-shaped containers and a small potted plant. More bottles and storage elements are tucked beneath the workbench, so the workshop feels stocked from top to bottom.
A broom hanging at the side gives the model an immediately recognizable witch-workshop detail while also extending the silhouette beyond the rectangular furniture.
A Workbench Made for Magical Experiments
The different objects can suggest plenty of stories without defining exactly what the witch is making. The open book might contain a potion recipe, the colorful bottles can become ingredients for an experiment, and the mushroom could be something freshly collected for the next mixture.
That makes the MOC useful as more than furniture. Place it against the wall of a witch’s home, build a room around it, or use it as the working counter of a small potion shop. It can also become a detailed interior section within a larger castle or fantasy setting.

The step-by-step images below show how to recreate the workshop, including the wooden table structure, rear shelving and the small objects arranged throughout the scene.
The build is especially detail-focused, so watch the placement of the bottles, book, plant, candle, mushroom and storage pieces as the workshop fills up. Those individual objects are what turn the furniture into a recognizable potion-making space.

Expand the Potion Room Beyond One Workbench
If you want to create a larger magical interior, the Potion Cabinet MOC can add another storage area filled with magical supplies.
For another interpretation of a potion-making station, explore the Wizard Potion Table MOC. You can also add smaller equipment around the room with the Witch Equipment MOC.
To move from potion making toward spellcasting, the Wizard’s Arcane Workbench MOC offers another detailed magical workspace that can help turn a single workshop into a much broader fantasy setting.
From Halloween Display to Fantasy Interior
The combination of the broom, potion bottles, candle and mushroom gives the workshop a natural place in a spooky seasonal display, but it does not have to be limited to Halloween. The wooden furniture and magical supplies also suit wizard rooms, fantasy cottages, castle interiors and alchemy-themed scenes.
For a small standalone display, the workbench already provides a clear focal point. In a larger layout, it can become the starting point for an entire room filled with shelves, magical equipment and other strange ingredients.
