Imperial Harbor Clock Tower MOC – Free Building Instructions

Imperial Harbor Clock Tower MOC – Free Building Instructions

A harbor needs something that can be recognized from across the water, and this Imperial Harbor Clock Tower MOC is designed to fill that role. The tall white tower rises directly from a compact waterfront scene, combining a wooden quay, open archway, clock face, balcony, red roof, lantern, and blue-and-white flag in one narrow landmark.

This is my original custom MOC, created as a small standalone display that can also become part of a wider harbor, fort, island, or pirate scene. Free step-by-step image instructions are available on this page.

A Clock Face Above the Quay

The large round clock immediately separates this build from a standard lookout tower. Placed high above the waterfront, it becomes the visual center of the model, while the red tiled roof and raised flag extend the silhouette even farther upward.

Below the clock, the yellow-trimmed balcony breaks up the white walls and gives the middle of the tower a clear architectural layer. The open arch at ground level keeps the structure from feeling like a solid block and creates a natural place for the uniformed harbor guard.

From Waterline to Rooftop, Every Level Changes the Scene

The model begins at the edge of the water with a curved blue base and a short wooden dock. A crate, barrel, chain, posts, and small shoreline details make this lower area feel like an active quay rather than simply a foundation for the tower.

Moving upward, the design shifts from the rugged brown dock to pale masonry, then to the balcony and clock chamber before finishing with the angled red roof and flag. That vertical progression gives the MOC several distinct areas to look at despite its compact footprint.

Follow the Free Instructions to Recreate the Harbor Tower

The image instructions on this page let you follow the construction visually and recreate the Imperial Harbor Clock Tower as shown. Pay particular attention to the transitions between the waterfront base, the narrow tower walls, the balcony level, and the roof, because those changes in shape are what give the model its recognizable profile.

The smaller finishing elements are also important to the final appearance. The side lantern, dock accessories, clock face, roof detailing, and flag help turn a simple tower shape into a complete miniature harbor location.

Build a Harbor Around the Clock Tower

This MOC can act as the central landmark in a larger waterfront display. A Lighthouse Island MOC can mark the outer approach to the harbor, while the Small Pirate Wharf can extend the wooden waterfront closer to the tower.

For a busier working dock, add the Pirate Dock Crane MOC as a cargo area. The Pirate Cannon Island MOC can create a contrasting defensive position farther across the water.

The Imperial Harbor Clock Tower also works by itself as a compact architectural display. Its combination of waterfront scenery, a tall clock tower, dock details, and rooftop flag gives the model a clear identity without requiring a full harbor around it.
