Haunted Graveyard MOC – Free Building Instructions

A ghost rising directly from an open grave gives this Haunted Graveyard MOC its main spooky moment. The small cemetery scene combines a dark tombstone, exposed bones, a candle, autumn leaves and a floating ghost into one compact Halloween display.

A Ghost Caught in the Middle of Its Escape

The model is built around the ghost rather than treating it as a small background detail. Its raised position above the grave creates the impression that it has just emerged, turning a simple cemetery setting into a scene with movement and a clear story.

A transparent curved element supports that effect while keeping the visual connection between the grave and the floating figure. Behind it, the tall dark tombstone provides a strong backdrop and helps frame the lighter ghost.

Details Around the Haunted Grave

The grave itself remains visible beneath the supernatural part of the scene. Gray edging defines its shape, while several exposed bones make the burial site look disturbed.

The surrounding brown ground is broken up with green and orange foliage. A small candle beside the grave adds another eerie cemetery detail, while the skull emblem on the tombstone reinforces the haunted theme.

These elements make the MOC useful as more than a single ghost model. It becomes a complete miniature graveyard scene with enough environmental detail to establish its setting immediately.
