100K MOC – Celebrating 100,000 Facebook Followers
100,000 followers deserves something more permanent than a social media post, so I turned the milestone into a MOC of its own. This original custom 100K MOC spells out the number that marks an exciting moment for How To Build It.

100K Followers – Built One Brick at a Time
How To Build It has reached 100,000 followers on Facebook. Behind that number are years of designing custom MOCs, sharing ideas, creating instructions, experimenting with new builds, and seeing what other builders create from them.
The 100K model was designed specifically to celebrate that milestone. Instead of placing the number on a graphic, I wanted to turn it into an actual build that could stand alongside the other MOCs shared through How To Build It.

Turning “100K” Into a Display MOC
The design uses four separate character forms to create a freestanding 100K display. The narrow number 1 establishes the height, while the two large zeros use rounded rectangular outlines with open centers.
The K changes the geometry at the end of the model. Its upright section follows the height of the other characters, while two diagonal arms create the recognizable letter shape and give the complete display a more dynamic finish.
Keeping the model entirely white puts the emphasis on the shapes themselves. From a distance, the four characters read as one simple 100K statement; closer inspection reveals how straight sections, curves, joints, and angled assemblies create each form.
